LATINO WRITER/DIRECTOR, VEGA MONTAÑEZ, ENLIST SKYZOO, RICO HUNDO, WALDO CORTEZ-ACOSTA, AND MORE TO TURN THE ACTION UP NINEFOLD WITH ‘THE BURDEN OF NINE LIVES’
From award-winning writer/director, Vega Montanez, comes the film ‘The Burden of Nine Lives’, an action revenge story that’ll keep viewers on the edge of their seats early next year. With ‘The Burden of Nine Lives’, Vega aims to keep the action front and center while subtly exploring the old adage “an eye for an eye”, the depth of human relationships, and the long fought battle of “Man v Career”.
To further strengthen his latest project, Vega has enlisted Emmy award-winning producer & director of the upcoming film “Nico”, Cosmo Losco, as well as award-winning producer/actress, Alysha M. Wright, and rising digital media mogul Cruzie Cruz to to bring this film to life along side him. The Burden of Nine Lives is set to begin filming in New York late April, with filming expected to last about two weeks. Although distribution plans are still in negotiations, the team behind the film is determined to bring The Burden of Nine Lives to theaters and streaming platforms spring 2024.
